Rancho Pacaya (RP) is a 20-acre farm located near the Pacaya Volcano in the Department of Escuintla, Guatemala, about a 45-minute drive south of Guatemala City. Rancho Pacaya is a center for understanding and promotion of regenerative agriculture and other technologies critical to combating global warming and which can be readily and efficiently replicated throughout Guatemala and in other countries with similar social and environmental conditions.
A stay at Rancho Pacaya is a regenerating and fulfilling experience. Location
Rancho Pacaya is 45 kilometers (28 miles) south of Guatemala City and close to Antigua Guatemala as well. Taking the CA-9 highway from Guatemala City heading towards Guatemala's south coast, at kilometer 36.5 one exits at the San Vicente Pacaya turnoff near the town of Palin and begins the ascent past the municipality of San Vicente Pacaya to the village of San Francisco de Sales where Rancho Pacaya and the Pacaya Volcano National Park are located.
